Bagel Toppings :0)

Just for some fun...

I am a massive bagel lover... with a Kennedy's sesame seed bagel being my one of preference!! (many other brand of bagel is available...) ;0)

I only started eating bagels this year... and was advised to have them with some cream cheese (philly being my favouite, but other cream cheeses are available...) ;0)

Since the revelation of the bagel in my life I now have a favorite topping... Brie with cucumber and spring onion!! It is just divine and the perfect combination with the sesame seeds on a toasted bagel as the cheese gently melts in to the soft yet crunchy bagel!!

I had a work colleague once who used to put peanut butter on her bagel... so wrong in my eyes yet so right in hers!!

I am open to try many other toppings... hopefully many variations with a lil help from anyone out there who is willing to put forward there favorite for me to try!!

So if you have nothing better to do and fancy leaving just a lil reply to brighten up my lunchtime feast then it would be much appreciated... TY in advance x

Insights into some 'working from home' scams

Research, Research, Research, Scams, Scams, Scams!!

Ok so I have been looking at a way to 'work from home' mainly in administration as this is what my work background involves, but I also like to think I have a creative side so have a lot of ideas of things I could make and create!!

Researching the internet is turning into a full tim job in itself... but I have come across a website which has many case studies on scams out there and just puts into perspective how easy it is to get caught up and involved in a scam

The website I would say to take a quick look at is www.homeworking.co.uk or www.homeworking.com

There are scams after scams after scams on the internet.  I heard a saying once... "if it looks to good to be true, then it probably is" this is something I would live by if searching 'working from home' on the internet!  Nothing comes for free in this life so I wouldn't believe all you read on how easy it is to start your home working business online,  and be careful about giving out personal contact details and I would recommend to NEVER give out bank details.

Help from above

More deliberation on where working parents can get more help...

Perhaps, although unlikely, the government could help?!

I have previously posted about working from home... then got to thinking...

Jobs the governement must think is available but I haven't found one - A job working 9.15am - 2.45pm with 15 weeks school holidays per year... VERY RARE, IF AT ALL AVAILABLE.

I have worked since I was 15 and enjoy working but now I have been made redundant I would like more help on how I can earn a living from home and look after my children.

There are many sources of help out there for people who wish to work in employment, but not for self employed people or parents with children who would like to work from home whilst supporting their family!

Sources of help include - Job Centre, direct.gov sites and many more.  When googling 'working from home' all of these sites came up but with no help on to how I can begin to start up 'work from home'. I would very much like to see the government set up a website with real help on how parents can earn a living from home and support their families at the same time.  This way people won't caught in any unnecessary scams... (There are thousands out there!!)

This is a seperate issue (although closely related) - I would also like to understand how the governement expect parents with children as young as 5 to go back to work and put their children into nurseys and childminders to be able to do this but then won't support the costs of childcare or support parents who wish to earn a living from home...!!!

Working from home, who can you really trust

Why pay to 'work at home'? - who can you really trust?

Google Research - endless hours!

So 'working from home' one word WOW! the scams that are out there are unbelievable!  There are two questions I have been trying to answer from all my research on google is - 1st. Why if I start a Job in the 'real world' I have no start up costs...(apart from possibly my petrol money to get there) yet starting out 'working from home' there are always startup fees or monthly payouts for goods to get started which are being slandered by other web writers as either not being sent out or worthless?!? and 2nd. Are there any legitimate companies who want real hard working people to work from home? I am now after my extensive research beginning to doubt this...?!? Who can you trust?

I am a mum of 2 recently made redundant... I would like to work and spend time with my 2 girls in the process.  I would like to pay my way as well as enjoy my children.

So please... If anyone reads my first blog - which may seem like a bit of a public rant (sorry) then i would just like to know of a worthy working from home company who aren't going to charge for my services when they will ultimately be the one who earns money from my hard work and graft!
